Q. When is the next seminar?
A. Saturday, February 21, 2009 - 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. It is a one-day class, with
post-training support.
Q. How much do the classes cost?
A. Good wedding consultant training classes cost between $500 and $1,000 dollars.
Not all expensive classes are better, and not all inexpensive classes are bad. You
should select the course that best fits your individual path to success. Our class costs
depend on the registration phase. Regular registration is $695 for classroom
sessions and $595 for online..
Q. What makes you qualified to train me?
A. I too have been trained, many years ago by a professional and certified bridal and
wedding instructor. In addition to that, I am a full time wedding planner and continue to
receive education through self-study, information from associations, networking
meetings and conferences that are for active wedding professionals.
Q. Do I have to be certified, or trained by a professional in order become a wedding
consultant?
A. No. Being so gives you an advantage, as well as allows you o know the pros and
cons of the business. Printing business cards and hanging out the proverbial shingles
calling oneself a wedding planner does not one make.
Q. Will you pass me along business and referrals once I get certified?
A. Yes, and no. Training through the institute gives you free advertising on
www.atlantaweddingperfect.com, a Atlanta wedding website directory that has
recently been launched with the student of WCCI in mind. You will receive a profile
biographical and preferred listing to assist in raising your online visibility so Brides,
Grooms and their families can find you.
Q. Can I receive Educational Credit Units for taking this course?
A. This seminar is considered a certificate, non-credit class. Therefore, you will not
receive educational credit, or educational credit units for taking it.
Q. I am concerned about paying for this course because I do not know whether I am
going to get my money's worth from this program. What do you say to ease my
mind?
A. This program is beneficial and of significant value with everything it offers. It is very
rare to find a program that offers post-training support from a live, professional
wedding planner who works and lives in the city of the class. A basic web search will
reveal this.
Like any type of educational, or training program, one gets out of what one wants to get
out of it. I can teach every wedding element from A-Z during my instructor and
mentorship, but if a student fails to apply what he/she has learned, it is the student, not
the instructor, who makes that choice and, as a result may subsequently fail to be
successful. Thus, in order to gain benefit from this training program, students must
actively apply what is received.
Q. Will this certification be accepted?
A. You are not receiving a license or permit so 'being accepted' is not an applicable
concept when it comes to wedding planning training. Why? Because
education/training in wedding planning is not a regulated service field like some others.
That is why there are so many different types of training offerings. Additionally, there is
no one type of training, or education that wedding consultants must possess. What
this means then is that you should choose a course/training that offers benefits in line
with what you want to accomplish. With ours, you get the academic, business and real,
application, if you live in the Atlanta area.
